Still a number of things to do -- picture edit, visual FX, titles, color correction, sound editing, score... oh boy! ________________________________________ 7/27/10 - Skinematic Arts is all wrapped up with production! 4 days of intense shooting - many adventures in different corners of LA, but the traveling circus is done for now. On to post! ________________________________________ 7/19/10 - First weekend of Skinematic Arts shooting is complete! ________________________________________ 7/13/10 - We are now just days away from shooting Skinematic Arts. Synopsis: A trio of different but talented students enrolled in the world's top adult film school must work together to make their first short porno film. We are shooting this short on dual Canon DSLRs with an all-USC crew and an ensemble of improv-savvy actors over the next 2 weeks. STANLEY now has a page on the site. 2. Upcoming short film project Skinematic Arts is in full pre-production. Mainly because I've spent the last semester working on a bunch of short films. "STANLEY", the one that I wrote and directed, is premiering this Saturday at USC along with a bunch of other student shorts! THE BUS is now part of the FILMS section and includes screenshots, info, and production photos. ______________________________________ 1/2/10 - Happy New Year all! More series to come soon. 6/17/09 - ROOFTOP has just landed first place in yet another festival! 6/6/09 - After a long hiatus, the website is back and updated again. Here are the major news: --- ROOFTOP (directed by PJ Gaynard and written by me) won first prize at the Lancaster Area Film Festival last month! --- ROOFTOP also screened at the Artsfest Film Festival in Harrisburg, PA! --- Starting August of this year, I am a graduate student at USC's School of Cinematic Arts. This means there will be less of a focus on photography and more films on the site in the future. =) --- New photo series! --- Didja notice? An updated, more streamlined site menu. 2/9/09 - The Fudge Fest was a blast and ROOFTOP was excellent! In the future, I'll post more about it when the DVD comes out. =) 2/1/09 - One week from today is the premiere of ROOFTOP, a short film I wrote back in 2007. Some experiments in multiple exposure. - The Last Sunday is part of the KinoFERMA film festival, happening in Brooklyn, NY on December 7th. I'm mentioned in their directors section. - Underwater stuff still in the works. 11/13/08 - "LordDogma" of SheezyArt.com has done several great drawings of our Harley Quinn concept! Go check them out on her site! 11/1/08 - Happy Halloween! New photo series! 10/21/08 - Well I haven't updated in forever (been busy with other stuff!) but there's a few things coming in the very near future: - A photo series featuring Roxy Zuckerman - Several more underwater sets featuring many people - The final 4th part of the Page Turner underwater series I'm also currently in collaboration with graphic artist Sally Slade on a mixed media project. In the meantime, here's a very recent pic of Kimberly! 9/19/08 - The Loser of Laurel Canyon is off to festivals! I'll post updates here if any of them accept it. The Last Sunday is all finished and also off to a festival or two. Working on a page for it now. 9/11/08 - Say hello to Amanda McQuade! ...and while you're at it, say hello to a firefighter, police officer, flight attendant, mother, father, New Yorker, Washingtonian, or any other citizen of humanity. 9/9/08 - The Last Sunday rough cut is now 100% finished. Time to start the refining process and completing the audio edit. The first full photo series featuring Amanda McQuade is coming next! 8/27/08 - A new photo series featuring Jeanette Perez is up! 8/25/08 - Back from the Eastern Hemisphere! A new photo series is on its way and TLS is being edited. 8/5/08 - It's hiatus time! I'm spending the next 3 weeks in Russia and won't be updating the site until I get back on the 25th or so. My phone will be off for all the weeks so if you'd want to get in touch, shoot me an e-mail! Till then! 7/30/08 - The test screenings for The Loser of Laurel Canyon are over. The reviews have so far all been positive with only miniscule changes made! Thank you everyone who took the time to watch it and give me their advice! What's next? Just gotta get the credits in order and then it's time for festival submissions! Total runtime: 5 minutes 19 seconds. The Last Sunday is being cut together. My guess is I'm somewhere around 30% done with the rough cut. The film will be about 9 minutes long. Photo updates are running a bit slowly (though I try to put up a new image relatively frequently) due to all the movies. But I've been shooting; just not editing as quickly as I used to. <=) 7/18/08 - Ohhh man, updates! First of all, The Loser of Laurel Canyon is finished. Now undergoing a few private test screenings to see how it plays. Second, The Last Sunday post-production is in full swing. It will soon have its own page on the site. Lastly, I now have a new links section at the bottom of this page to connect with the folks I work with or simply like. If you've got a site you want me to link to, let me know and I'll include you. 7/11/08 - The Last Sunday (Glikin-Gusinsky project) has completed filming in Redondo Beach & Los Angeles. 7/4/08 - The Loser of Laurel Canyon score is done! The film is now undergoing minor cosmetic edits, color balancing, video filters, etc... basically polishing it up. The Andrew Glikin-Gusinsky project is moving along forward. The two leads have been cast. They are Sergei Mifle and Emmalinda MacLean. Whee! 7/2/08 - The Loser of Laurel Canyon score is extremely close to completion by composer Johnathan D. Dean! Casting for the Glikin-Gusinsky project is underway. A prop-heavy photoshoot featuring Amanda McQuade and HPR is in the works. The new featured pic is of dancer Alyssa Morar. 6/27/08 - A 2nd short film project is in pre-production with NY writer (and TwoWatches regular!) Andrew Glikin-Gusinsky. Stay tuned! 6/24/08 - Yes, The Loser of Laurel Canyon is nearing completion after sitting around inactive for many months. The edit is basically finished and now I'm currently looking at composers for a score. Expect more updates on its main page! |
